When England hit a rough patch at the Rugby World Cup, we turned to the ones known for changing the course of games – the fans.

We celebrated them as sporting heroes, taking the phrase usually reserved for iconic moments, “Hang it in the Louvre”, quite literally. In turn, fans showed their love by rallying the England team, and the team then went on to finish third. Not bad.
